One of the great things about Dalton, Tunnel Hill and Whitfield County is the variety of outdooor adventures waiting for you to discover them just a few minutes off I-75. Unlike other cities who lure you to drive miles out of your way, you can get to our natural attractions quickly. For example, the Disney Trail, which
Georgia Trails considers to be one of the most scenic hikes in the state, is less than a minute from Exit 336 on I-75. The same is true about the start of the Pinhoti Trail and Dug Gap Battlefield Trail, where Civil War buffs can relive the stand made by Confederate soldiers who were outnumbered 10 to 1.

In Dalton, the trail is accessible across from Dug Gap Battle Park, or at Hwy. 136 West at I-75 Exit 333.
Disney Trail
